On the Nassau/Suffolk County border, Paintball Arena at 400 Patton Avenue, West Babylon, Long Island NY is the Island's closest indoor field to New York City and is the closest playing field for Nassau County residents. Patton Avenue is in a small industrial area surrounded by the Pinelawn National Cemetery, off Wellwood Avenue. Two minutes from Paintball Arena is Airport Plaza, offering a Multiplex Cinemma and lots of choices for shopping and dining. Beyond are more shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities on Route 110 in Farmingdale.

The Arena features two playing field layouts. Our two fields are separated by a hoistable wall of paintball net. When the net is lowered, players can alternate between the the two setups featuring Ultimate Air and Sup-Air bunkers. One of the fields is set up to be played through the "coliseum wall" that divides the field. Three arched doorways allow passage through the wall which provides cover for movement and advancement and gives you a totally different indoor experience. During most sessions at Arena the dividing net is raised, and players compete on either the full length tournament field or the combined L shaped concept field. The combined L- shaped setup is GIGANTIC: one of the largest indoor play areas in the USA! Playing aroud the corner, with three major focus points of battle, is an adrenaline-soaked experience few other fields in the world can offer.

The Arena staging area is comfortable and decorative. Soak up the Roman Coliseum / gladiator theme, check out our paintball history wall, or watch games from behind the safety of two layers of anti-paintball netting. Plenty of space and plenty of tables and chairs. Remember, this is indoor paintball! Real restrooms, cushioned carpet. Paint, air refills, and paintball gear for purchase are spaced out to reduce long lines.

To keep things nice and bright, we use big halogen lights. So things stay bright on the playing fields, we protect the ceiling with a speical low-density paintball net instead of the full density nets we use for the field walls. These ceiling nets let all the light through while keep things clean and safe up there.

New Sports TURF, installed 12/2005, cover the floors of the Arena playing fields and staging area. We chose the turf based our our experience playing at many indoor fields. We wanted a floor that is clean, lets you run without slipping but still lets you slide into your position safely. The NPPL Super 7 World Series uses this type of turf with great results. To increase safety and comfort, we chose turf with a thick layer of padded cushioning underneath. You should always wear gloves and knee & elbow pads while playing and The Arena is no exception, but this is as about as cushy as paintball can get!

We rent power feed Automags or Model 98s with nitro tanks. For accuracy, dependability, and ease of use they are a bunch of notches above the typical rental gear used in paintball today. JT Spectra full head goggle systems give you an edge with excellent peripheral vision. RASE tournament cargo pants and jerseys are offered as our two-piece rental wear. Go out looking like a pro your first time playing! Both Nitro and CO2 fills are available at the Arena.

The Arena Shop stocks all the basic paintball gear you may need to make your experience more enjoyable, or to get that competitive edge. Pads, gloves, hats, squeegies, tubes, packs, shirts, jerseys, pants, and goggle systems.
